Ronya Hospital

Ronya Hospital

Ronya Hospital is a project of the Touch of Hope Organization, a registered nonprofit organization based in Kisii County, Kenya. Touch of Hope exists to serve the most vulnerable and forgotten members of our society—those who are living in extreme poverty and have no access to the most basic medical care.

Who We Are

Touch of Hope Organization is a non-profit, non-governmental organization officially registered by the Kenyan Government. Our mission is to touch the weakest and most needy in our communities by providing essential medical services, compassion, and hope where it’s needed most.

Ronya Hospital, located in Keumbu, Kisii County, is a Level 3 health facility operating under the Touch of Hope Organization. The hospital is led by Catherine Morara, a trained Clinician and the Director of Ronya Hospital. She is supported by Mr. Nyabuto Nyamora, the Co-Director of Touch of Hope, who plays a key role in the administration and day-to-day operations of the organization.

Our Work

Kisii County faces immense medical challenges, including a lack of specialized healthcare. Most notably, the entire region has no cancer treatment or screening center, which has tragically contributed to the preventable deaths of many especially women who suffer from conditions that could have been treated if detected early.

In the areas where we work, access to modern medical attention is extremely limited or entirely unavailable. Ronya Hospital was established to stand in that gap bringing life-saving healthcare to people who would otherwise have no access.

We run outreach programs and free medical camps that reach deep into remote, underserved communities. These initiatives serve a population of over 100,000 people, many of whom live in extreme poverty and face life-threatening health issues every day without any access to medical help.

Why We Need You

At Touch of Hope, we are driven by a deep commitment to love, compassion, and justice. But the need far outweighs our current resources. We know that with more partners, we can reach more lives and build stronger systems of care in this neglected region.

That’s why we are inviting you to join us. Your support whether through partnership, resources, or collaboration can help bring dignity, hope, and healing to thousands who have been left behind by conventional healthcare systems.

We would be honored to welcome you and your team to Kisii to see firsthand the work we are doing and the urgent needs we are trying to meet. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

With deep appreciation and hope,
